Last night, I made some shake & bake pork chops for dinner. They... did not turn out well. I don't really know how someone can mess up shake & bake, but it seems that I can. They were weirdly wet on top and we had to scrape all of the seasonings and whatnot off of the chops. I feel quite dejected about this.
In other news, I am presently watching the Christmas episode of Downton Abbey from season two. I decided last week that I needed to rewatch seasons one and two before watching any episodes from the new season so I could get back into the swing of things. And now it's finally near the time to start watching new episodes and I. Can't. Wait.
In cat-related news, I bought the cats a little red lobster toy when I was at the pet supply store the other day. It has catnip in it, which is exciting. Anyway, I brought him home to the gatos (I named him Lenny, in case you want to know) and when I loosed him from his packaging and threw him to the felines, they went craaaaaazy. They were all fighting over him and batting him around and running really fast. It was really hilarious. I wish I had taken a video of the funny things they were doing. After we went to bed, I heard some tussle downstairs and I'm 95% sure that it was the cats, tossing Lenny around. Poor Lenny. At least he's loved.
And finally, I am really excited for the three day weekend coming up. I don't know how I'll spend it, but I intend to be somewhat productive. I started work on a new camera strap cover last night. We'll see how that turns out.
